Very large outside flat ground for that Jumping Castle for your child’s birthday or Baptism
Maria Assumpta Beach Haven Parish hall is behind the church (as you face the church entrance) and is available for hire on a regular or casual basis.
The hall is a large air-conditioned room with a chipboard floor and a kitchen. There are 90 chairs and 8 oblong tables, and 2 very large tables available for use. The large size of the hall makes it ideal for dance or fitness classes. Also suitable for hobby classes, funeral/wedding functions, etc.
The kitchen has an oven, four plate hob, fridge freezer, microwave, one wall mounted water boiling unit, and a dish steriliser An assortment of cutlery and serving plates, cups and two large teapots.
Toilet facilities are at the side of the hall.
There is free parking on the church grounds.
The charge for the rental is $30 per hour and a $150 Bond (Non-Parishioners BOND is $350) is required at the time of booking. This Bond is refundable provided the conditions (Noted below Booking Form – scroll down please) and cleaning requirements have been adhered to.
Donation to our Community - if you wish to donate your Bond to our church that would be greatly appreciated.
Please fill out the Enquiry Form below, stating what you wish to use the Hall for, the date you wish to book for and the approximate number of people.
EXAMPLE: (Please note that you must include Set-up time)
If you wish to hire the hall for 3 hours for your event and you need 2 hours to set up and clean up afterwards - then you are hiring the hall for 5 hours not 3 hours. THANK YOU for your understanding in this regard.
Conditions of Hire
ORANGE LEVEL Restrictions on Numbers - No limit on numbers.
NO CONFETTI is allowed to be used in the HALL as it sticks to the floor and is difficult to remove
You understand that the Hall hire is for ALL the time you are to be using the Hall which includes SET UP and cleaning afterwards.
At an evening function, all music and /or other entertainment must cease by 11.30 pm. The Parish Centre and grounds must be cleaned and vacated by 12.30 am. (Hirers are reminded that the hall is situated in a residential area.)
(a) Unless prior permission is obtained, Alcohol will not be permitted on the premises
(b) Alcohol may only be consumed within the Hall. Liquor Laws must be adhered to.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS ALCOHOL TO BE CONSUMED ON THE GROUNDS OR IN THE CAR PARK.
(c) SMOKING / Vaping
Smoking or Vaping is not permitted in the centre under any circumstances
The Hirer/s will limit noise levels to comply with Auckland’s City Council’s Noise regulations and bear in mind that the premises are in a residential area.
(a) The Hall CANNOT under any circumstances be used by any Patched Gang members – the event will be shut down if this is not followed as we have had damage from previous gang member use.
(b) All Hirers renting the hall after 9.30 pm will be given a special confidential code and must set the alarm before leaving the hall.
(c) The hall is hired out on the understanding that adequate Supervision and security arrangements have been made for the hall, facilities and grounds, and for the general conduct of the users. The person who signs this agreement is responsible for the provisions in this clause.
(a) After all functions floor must be swept and washed with hot water.
(b) Toilets must be cleaned.
(c) Kitchen must be left spotless, without residual smells.
(d) ALL RUBBISH Must be removed from the property
